A girl should be two things; classy and fabulous

The holy grail, the mother of the beauty ship, Coco, CHANEL.

There is something about the slick black and white branding, the glossy lids and the elegance, the prestige that gets girls hearts all over the world pounding, pennys rattling and minds slipping into endless dreaming. You just simply cannot deny the beautiful, sophisticated packaging from the iconic Chanel, whether it is a nail varnish or the out-of-reach handbags poised perfectly in the Bond Street stores.

I am not one to splash my cash on such items. Not because I don't want to but because I can't afford it whilst battling all my monthly fees; train, rent, food. Sure, I've contemplated walking from Warwickshire to London for a few months and even come close to giving up food in the cause for being fabulous. It's like once you have Chanel you are immediately accepted by some higher power in towering heels gleaming head to toe in designer. You have made it.

Well girls, its happened. The Gods have listened to me and his trusty men here on earth (ahem, my parents) have been at work. I have my very first Chanel!

I am very lucky to be blessed with many beautiful things and now as I get older there is little I ask my parents for when they kindly ponder what I would like for birthdays or Christmas'. Many of you may agree quality over quantity is such the mantra you being to live by once you reach your twenties and are past the one hit wonders. I didn't think it would happen, but it did and here it is. My beautiful wrapped Chanel goodies from a gleaming beauty stand in a bright lit store that might as well just be heaven.

Everything about it is just luxury. The crisp black and white gift bag with light as a feather paper tissue embellished with the Chanel logo. Each item wrapped perfectly in crystal white with branded ribbon hugging each one.

Sorry, yes were still talking about make up.

It was just so pretty I almost didn't want to open it! Ever! But I did, of course. Who do you think I am?

Unwrapping I was so touched how lucky I was. Coco Mademoiselle perfume, lipgloss, nail varnish and my go to - liquid eyeliner.

Ok, so to many this might not be such a big deal like, ok, it's not the bag but hey come on, you gotta indulge in these moments of luxury. It's a milestone marking my next step into women hood.

I will be sure to review each one carefully giving you the full scope on the Chanel make up. I am sure I will not be disappointed but for now, because I have spent way too long on this as it is, enjoy the beauty of the packaging. IT'S SO PRETTY!
